Claire Emma Staples - 8/30/08

Hello world, Claire Emma has officially arrived. She made it in to earth last night at 6 pm arizona time (that is 3 hours from eastern, 2 from central and so on). She weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. She has dark hair and dark eyes. I think she resembles maddy a bit, but we shall see. Labor was quick and pain free thanks to wonderful anesthesia. Stacey and the baby are both well and both slept through the night. We are incredibly happy and very blessed.
